Welcome!
Welcome to the Epiphany Sacred Arts Guild, a society of Canadian artists and associates based in British Columbia, promoting the practice and appreciation of sacred arts as defined by the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
The aims of the Guild touch upon the spiritual, educational, promotional and practical aspects of sacred art.
We meet regularly to examine literature and works on sacred art in the Catholic tradition and invite guest speakers to present various topics, followed by a ‘show and tell session’ of current work.
Join us to network with other sacred artists and participate in our various activities.
The source of making sacred art is the contemplation of Beauty, Goodness and Truth. To this end the Epiphany Sacred Arts Guild offers its members annually 2 day retreats for artists.
Education is a key component of the Guild’s mandate. Individual members also offer workshops in various disciplines such as gilding, calligraphy, and iconography.
Our promotional activities include promoting the Guild through the website, social media and cooperation with other organizations to organize the biennial ESAG Exhibition of Sacred Art.
