Members of ESAG's Executive Committee went on an excursion to the "Of Heaven and Earth: 500 Years of Italian Painting" exhibition featuring the works by Italian masters from the Glasgow Museums at the Vancouver Art Gallery on July 28, 2015. The beautiful collection included some 500 works from 1370 to 1886, with outstanding pieces by Sandro Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, and Titian (Tiziano Vecellio). The Italian masterpieces, featuring famous religious narratives such as The Annunciation, The Crucifixion and The Nativity, will be on display till Oct 4, 2015. Appropriately, after ESAG members Steve Knight, Chris Kielesinski, Ana Maria Pachero and Christine Lim-Labossiere enjoyed the vast Italian collection, they continued their discussion on the religious art over coffee at a nearby Italian cafe.
