On May 14, 2019 the Epiphany Sacred Arts Guild members visited the Vancouver Art Gallery and saw an excellent world class level exhibit of works by such artists as Corot, Millet, Renoir, Cezanne, Pissarro, Degas, Rodin, Soutine and many more. The exhibit traced the development of the modern revolution from the Paris Salon works to the 1950’s.
Canadian artists who were influenced by or studied in Paris at the time were included. Organized by the Brooklyn Museum, it is a ‘must see’ exposition which closes on May 20th, 2019.
